Austin Film Society's Austin Studios is a unique public/private partnership with the City of Austin. It is a centrally located, 20-acre film production facility with 10,000 square feet of office space and 100,000 square feet of production area over five stages.
We have areas for set construction, wardrobe, storage, and filming, in addition to acres of parking for trailers and trucks. With lots of space, world-class on-site vendors, great local crews and actors, and beautiful locations in Austin and surrounding areas, Austin Studios provides a competitively priced production alternative to Los Angeles.
Our main goal is to serve and expand the film industry in Austin by attracting national productions to our facility, and providing low-cost options for local productions.
