For 13 years at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Catherine Parrington oversaw more than 1,000,000 square feet of backlot and production activity as manager of production services and studio operations. After deciding it was time for a change, this Los Angeles native found - after plenty of research and some serious soul-searching - that there was no better place for her husband and two little boys than Austin. Everyday, Austin feels more like home, and she looks forward to working with the Austin Studios and Film Society in the support of their mission and the local film community.
Studio Operations Coordinator
Adam Tate is the son of an architect and a teacher's aide/restauranteur. A graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts School of Filmmaking, he has dabbled in everything there is to do with film so far: made fiction and non-fiction movies, taught at numerous high school and middle school film programs, juried for the Riverrun International Film Festival, and now assisting with the management of Austin Studios. He is thrilled to be a part of AFS. His loves include Talking Heads, chocolate, problem-solving, and Bruce Springsteen.
